Then and now! Did you know Michael McGough was the first African American Captain of the Fresno State Wrestling team? He went on to become the first African American art teacher hired by Clovis Unified. He spent years coaching kids at Clovis High. This trailblazer spent more than 30 years with the district. Thank you all for your support at the 2023 SJV Black Expo. Join us Sep 18th-21st, 2025 for 4 days of education, enrichment, entertainment and most all a time of community. Sep 18th-19th events will take place at the CSUF Craig School of Business and on Sep 20th-21st the events will be held at CSUF’s Campus Pointe.
