SFLuvCommunity Promoting community improvement, civic engagement, and equitable development of local and hyper-local economies

SFLuv (sfluv.org) coin is a digital currency focused building the future of San Francisco. Our technology empowers citizens & business to invest-in & revitalize local neighborhoods – building infrastructure; planting trees, cleaning streets & graffiti; creating a more beautiful and prosperous city. Our Mission is to support inclusive and sustainable economic grown and revitalization in cities, spe

cifically San Francisco—investing in commercial districts through a merchant-centered approach, driven by direct input from local businesses, ensuring responsive and tailored strategies that address their unique needs. Our currency helps support distributed ecosystems for things like tree planting; street sweeping / cleaning and graffiti / w**d abatement; street parking allocation and urban right-of-way use assignment; local benefits or service delivery; and community-based package delivery; and more. Our goal to is develop financial tools that empower neighbors to help neighbors and change their own environments for good. The SFLUV project began as a part of the INTNCITY project (https://intn.city/) -- a forward-thinking technology company using blockchain-based platforms to help build and finance local infrastructure with a mission to foster inclusive economic growth while promoting urban regeneration, enhancing transportation systems, and driving economic empowerment in local communities. INTNCITY was pilot project that looked to accelerate the intensity of urban development at the local level using blockchain to create more streamlined delivery of neighborhood infrastructure and services--helping neighbors work together to build and finance infrastructure and provide better services that impact their daily lives.

We had such a great time this past Saturday at Eid Festival 🪔

Our booth featured a hands-on ceramic tile workshop where guests could paint their own tiles & each one becoming part of something bigger. These pieces will be incorporated into the Dodge Alley mosaic mural by artist Colette Crutcher.

It was amazing to see people of all ages get involved, create something meaningful, and be part of a lasting community project. Participants also earned SFLuv perks to redeem at nearby local stores and restaurants, keeping the support right here in the neighborhood.

Grateful to everyone who stopped by, painted a tile, and helped bring this project to life 💟🎨

Community growing trees 🌳

Stay tuned to learn more about how to sign up to become a Tenderloin Street Tree Steward!

SFLuv is collaborating with Friends of the Urban Forest, the Tenderloin CBD, and the Tenderloin Merchants Association to support SF Public Works volunteers who will help look after newly planted trees in the neighborhood. If a tree needs help, volunteer tree stewards will report it to a dedicated team at Public Works so they can respond quickly.

We also welcome others in the community to become volunteers and help care for the trees in their area. Each day volunteers check in on their tree and report its condition, they’ll receive an SFLuv gratitude perk as a thank you for helping care for the neighborhood.

Stronger trees, stronger streets 🍃
