About us:
The Azerbaijan House in California is a Culture and Friendship Community Center of Azerbaijan Society of California established in 2022 by the initiative of individual Azerbaijani professionals, intellectuals, and students living in California. Our organization is a nonprofit and strictly nonpolitical organization. We are aiming to serve as a community center, promoting cultural activiti

es, traditions, and friendship between the Azerbaijani Society of California and the American community. Our goal is to make Azerbaijani House in California a symbol of friendship and culture for Azerbaijani and American people in California and the United States. We want to create the American Azerbaijani Community that brings together people of all cultures and nationalities where we can use the opportunity to introduce and educate them on our culture, traditions, values, and history. This is especially important for Azerbaijanis living in America as it will be the first Azerbaijan House located in California. Our Mission:
As a community, we are looking forward to helping build a better support system by interacting with friendships and participating fully in the community’s economic, civic, educational, and most importantly cultural life for all the Azerbaijanis and Turkic nations living in California and across the United States. This is an important step in making sure that our current and the future generation of American Azerbaijanis and Turk descents are kept close and/or raised with cultural values, traditions, and historical knowledge.

Fourth of July Celebrations at Almaden Lake Park: A Spectacular Day!

Dear Friends,

Come celebrate EID-al-Adha together on a Muslim owned farm (Valley Oak Farm) in Morgan Hill, CA on Sunday June 23rd from 11 AM to 5 PM, featuring a grassy picnic area with pond, covered trellis area with bazaar vendors, henna & facepainting, horse & pony rides, farm tour, petting zoo, Nasheed performances, U-Pick Apricots from the orchard, and of course Halal Food & Dessert vendors including El Halal Amigos, Sunnah Soldier BBQ, Bibz N Ribz, Kona Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Cycle Sweets (ice cream), Raoof’s Bean Pies, & Chai Way Tea Cart!

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Kids 3 & under are free!

The entry ticket includes: farm tour, picnic area, petting zoo, nasheeds entertainment.

Today The San Jose District 10 Leadership Coalition held a productive General Meeting at the Santa Teresa Branch Library. Community members and leaders gathered to discuss local issues and initiatives.

Key sessions included updates from Councilmember District 10 Arjun Batra on city developments, Wendi Mahaney-Gurahoo on child care solutions, and Congressman Jimmy Panetta on national issues. The meeting also featured updates from various working groups and a neighborhood roundtable.
