Thanks to our dedicated, persistent, and resilient donors and members, YLCAF has passed its halfway to their $1,000,000 goal to set up an endowment! Today, our endowment fundraising has reached $558,732 as of February 27, 2026.This is an impressive accomplishment—but our work is not finished. We are just over halfway there.

Here are two meaningful ways you can help YLCAF right now:

• Recruit at least one alumni or supporter to become a lifetime YLCAF member with a one-time $50 fee.

• Make an annual gift or commit to a recurring monthly donation at any level ($10, $25, $50, $75, or more)

Together, by giving today, we are ensuring the future of Deaf youth leadership.

I am the President of the Youth Leadership Camp Alumni Foundation (YLCAF) whose goal is to raise $1,000,000 to set up an endowment to support YLC and deaf youth. I am honored to work with wonderful Board members who walk the talk. They do give to YLCAF all those years, and now, today, they have a message for you all to please consider giving to YLCAF, too. Here are their words….

I am thrilled to report that our current balance is $530,000. That means we’ve already passed the 50% of our $1,000,000 endowment goal. We, the board, are excited and will continue encouraging people to donate, small or large. It does not matter. Many thanks!

We are very sad to announce that one of our esteemed YLCAF Board members passed away on March 13, 2025, under regrettable circumstances: carbon monoxide poisoning. His wife, Marlene, and their beloved dog, Jenny, also passed away.
