In 2024, CCL volunteers asked their members of Congress to support a bipartisan clean energy permitting reform package. The new Congress must hear from us to finish the job in 2025. We want a new legislative package introduced and pushed over the finish line.

Ask Congress to enact permitting reform legislation now
The new package must:
boost transmission projects ⬆️
improve early community involvement 🤝
speed up the pace with which the U.S. builds and deploys new clean energy projects ⏰
We’re glad Congress has been chipping away at this issue, but there’s more to be done.
The longer we delay permitting reform, the longer clean energy stays off the grid. We can’t meet our climate goals without speeding up wind, solar, and battery projects.

Take action now by emailing your member of Congress.
