GLASS USS Carl Vinson G.L.A.S.S. is the only officially chartered GLB nonprofit organization operating in the United States Navy. What do we do?
-Community- G.L.A.S.S.

We are a peer-to-peer group for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and questioning service members as well as their supporters; we are committed to providing support for our fellow service members through advocacy, education, and outreach. Who can join G.L.A.S.S.?
-Any staff member attached to CARL VINSON may join G.L.A.S.S. This includes active
duty enlisted and officers working at CARL VINSON. Do I have t

o identify as GLB to join?
-No, GLB allies and supporters are encouraged to come and be a part of this organization. chapters nationwide are known for our involvement within the community. We have regular partnerships with AVER (American Veterans for Equal Rights), PFLAG (Parents, Friends of Lesbians and Gays), AMPA (American Military Partner Association) as well as many other nonprofit
organizations.

-Command- Historically, G.L.A.S.S. has worked with various CSADD chapters and the Navy's SAPR program to facilitate fundraising events. We have participated in Gay Pride Parades, Memorial Day Parades, sporting events,
etc.
