Leather Tracks: Trails and Trials along the Timeline. Interested in learning about San Diego’s leather/BDSM history? Who and what happened, who came before us? Who are the elders of San Diego’s Leather/BDSM history? Where are they, where did they go, and who is still around? Join us as we travel the trails and learn from the trials of our leather families through the histories told by our leather
presenters. This is an on going monthly workshop featuring new presenters each month who will share with us and discuss the trails they have forged & the trials they have endured on their leather path. For those new to the community we hope to be able to bring an understanding of leather history, the old guard, the new guard, contests, the relevance of the “bar scene”, earning leather, boot blacking, and a myriad of other subjects. For those that have been in the community for a while we hope you’ll join us in supporting your fellow brothers and sisters in leather and share in hearing their stories. The workshop is free to attend (we do ask for a $5 donation to help cover room cost, no one will be turned away for lack of funds). Please note that Leather Tracks is not affiliated with or sponsored by any clubs or organizations. The workshop is open to everyone and anyone interested in learning and hearing about leather, it is not specific to any ‘one gender/orientation/or dynamic’.
