From presenting her fellowship project on a national stage to returning as a mentor—this is what full-circle impact looks like.
We are proud to spotlight Kennedy Champayne from our 2024 EBPI Cohort.
Kennedy presented her EBPI project at the AACN Access Connection Engagement (ACE) Symposium in Indianapolis, IN.
After her successful project, Kennedy returned to EBPI in 2025 serving as a Mentor.

We've announced the dates for our 2026 Evidence Based Practice Institute!

19th Annual Evidence-Based Practice Institute (EBPI)
The EBPI is designed to bring in a new idea that has been tested by others and is not already a part of practice and/or improve an existing practice based on new evidence.
*It is NOT designed to conduct research on a new idea.

This grant honors Dean Barb Taylor’s enduring support of the Evidence-Based Practice Institute (EBPI). For more than 16 years, Dean Taylor championed our mission by providing space, faculty, and resources that allowed ideas to flourish and evidence-based practice to grow. Naming this grant after her reflects her remarkable legacy of curiosity, teaching, and patient advocacy.
