Today 11 years ago we lost the bright light of Kai, and continue to do good works in his name through the foundation named after him, Kimonos for Kai. Thank you all for supporting us for those that knew Kai and those that didn’t get the pleasure of meeting him. Thank you for being on this journey with us.

Today John John and I got to help give back to the community working with Heart of Compassion church and their backpack giveaway, as well as speak to the community on teen and pre teen su***de prevention and awareness through Kimonos for Kai. What an amazing day, volunteering is amazung and helping your community even better!

Today Kimonos for Kai had the absolute pleasure of sponsoring two kids at Escondido Boxing Academy! Chris Cope former TUF and UFC fighter gave a seminar and great times were had by all!

Another great event for Kimonos for Kai! We got to do a self defense seminar for West Coast Martial Arts Academy in 4S Ranch, and then speak with parents on how to help their children and spread the word “You are Not Replaceable.” Thank you Will Deutschendorf for opening your academy to us, and thanks to former UFC fighter and Kimonos for Kai Board Member Chris Cope for coming to support!

So happy for our foundation to sponsor our first kid and show him that people are good and care!

Last week the marker for our son Kai was laid on his final resting spot at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside CA. My daughter and I designed the marker and think he would have loved it. Take a moment today and please say a small prayer for Kai, then hug your kids and let them know how much you truly love them. I would give anything to hug Kai again and let him know how much we miss and love him.
