Join us on March 24 in Kirkwood for the first Al-Pint Night of the year in St. Louis, supporting the Missouri Paddling Coalition. Two pours from 4 Hands Brewing Company (Yes, NA included!). A pint glass to take home. And every dollar goes back to protecting Missouri’s rivers.

Today! (Thur) Join our friends with the Mississippi River Water Trail Association at the Old Bakery Beer Company in Alton IL. At Drink for a Cause on the 3rd Thursday every month, 25% of beer sales are donated to different organizations. 11:30-9:00 🍻

Join us this Wednesday, July 16, for Al-Pint Night at Alpine Shop locations in Kirkwood 6-8 PM, and in Columbia 5-7 PM, to support the Missouri Paddling Coalition.

-Craft Brews - For those 21 and over, a donation of $10 gets you an Alpine Shop logo pint glass and MOPadCo will fill it not once, but twice! Thanks to 4 Hands in St. Louis and Logboat in Columbia.
-Support a Cause - All proceeds will benefit MOPadCo.
-Raffles & More - Participate in exciting raffles and learn how you can get involved with paddling all across the State of Missouri. In Kirkwood, Mark Fingerhut will present "Paddling the Midwest Coast" at 6:30.

Upcoming Missouri Paddling Coalition Events -

July 1: Anticipated update of new website.

July 6: MOPadCo meeting in KC. Need a host. (contact Charlene if you are able to host).

September 20: Great Rivers Rendezvous and MOPadCo campfire and camping at the Audubon Center. Volunteer opportunities and camping registration will follow shortly.

October 24: Filmfest. Campfire. Camping. Paddling. Paddle Stop in New Haven MO will be hosting this event. We need some volunteers to help plan these activities.

November 2: Calendar Meeting. HOST needed.

Events and Requests: As interest in MOPadCo increases, so do requests for our participation in various activities like last year's Outdoor Expo by Terrain Magazine in St Charles. Participation in similar events in other regions is a priority. In order to meet this goal, we need to know about upcoming events and have volunteers to staff them. Email Charlene if you are interested in representing your region on an events committee.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Lots of great opportunities to volunteer and promote Missouri Paddling Coalition are coming up. Please email Charlene Waggoner if you are able to help.

-July 7 at Kaw Point, Kansas City. Noon-8:00 PM. Information and Snack tent during check-in for the MR340. All member organizations are encouraged to bring (or arrange for delivery) information about your group.
-July 11 at Lewis & Clark Boat House, St Charles. 3:00-9:00 PM. Information tent at MR340 Finish Line Party. (tacos/drinks sold noon-8:00 PM, music begins 5:15 and continues after 7:00 PM awards ceremony)
-July 16 at Alpine Shop, Columbia. 4:45-7:15 PM. Al-Pint Night in support of MOPadCo. Information and filling pints.

It's the last 30 minutes of the last Power Hour for Give STL Day, where a $20,000 prize pool will be applied to organizations like Greenway Network with donations until 10:00PM! But if you miss it, you can still donate until 10:00AM on Friday May 9th. We appreciate your support!
