Our Core Values and Guiding Principles
The following list of core values reflects what is truly important to us as an organization. These are not values that change from time to time, situation to situation or person to person, but rather they are the foundation of the culture that flows out of Hope Harvest. We affirm, embrace and hold ourselves accountable to the following core values. People: We
remember that people are at the focus and drive of our organization. Whether it be the orphans that we bring into our homes or the staff that we employ, we strive to love, care for and help the individual reach their full God-given potential. We recognize the need to nurture each individual in a holistic manner in order for them to reach full maturity and become influencers to the communities around them. Regardless of what their belief is, it is the individual in whom we care for (this includes donors, staff and agencies we partner with). Integrity: We maintain and strive for the highest standard of integrity, honesty and authenticity in our dealings with the public, our donors, government entities and organizations we partner with, staff that we hire and children that come under our care. We strive to do our work with excellence and quality to ensure that we help enrich the lives and communities in which we work and live. Community: We are committed to serving the poor and being stewards of what we have received. We believe that living out our faith in loving and serving the poor is a testament to who Jesus Christ is and it is the Gospel that empowers us to love and to serve those who are suffering and in need. Life: We are dedicated to the belief that an individual has the right to life and have it to the fullest. Individuals have the right to be treated fairly and justly and we are committed to championing their cause.
