San Diego Madres We love our San Diego Padres and support them by helping out as needed at Petco events and by cheering on the team.

We were formed in 1972 and since then the number of San Diego County youth baseball teams we have sponsored has grown from 30 youth to 62 leagues and 8 Challenger Divisions in 2011. Visit our website and become a Madres Member!!

Baseball on Super Bowl Sunday? You betcha! We’ll be showing the movie “61” and hear from Andy Strasberg who was a consultant for the film. Andy has great stories from his personal experiences with Roger Maris and his family. We’ll also enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at Elijah’s Restaurant. Plus, you can be home in time for kickoff! Hope you’ll join us!

The Madres welcome all Little League, youth softball, and Challenger leagues throughout the San Diego region to apply for sponsorship checks. You can find the online form on our website under the "Youth Baseball" tab (sdmadres.org; link in the Comments below).

Last year, we gave out almost $18,000 in sponsorship checks. We hope to surpass that this year, so please spread the word!

We have fun at our events but at the end of the day, it’s all about the kids for us. Here’s our fundraising tally for 2025 - all distributed to youth baseball & softball leagues throughout San Diego County. We’ll be announcing “applications open” in mid-January so stay tuned for that and as Mark Grant would say “tell a friend.” ❤️⚾️❤️

We miss baseball so we visited the murals. Thank you to the extraordinarily talented artists who painted these (and many more across San Diego) for us fans. . And it was a pleasure meeting you in person today

The Madres join the rest of the baseball community in mourning the loss of Randy Jones. We’ll miss his laughter (like the time we surprised him as lookalikes), his stories, and endless generosity. Randy was one-of-a-kind, and gave his heart & soul to the San Diego Padres and its fans. He was so good to our organization, and we can’t thank him enough for being such a great friend to the Madres through the years. We have over 100 photos with Randy (!) but here are a few favorites. Rest easy, Randy. 🤎⚾️💛
