At Hura, we are deeply concerned about the Taliban's recent decision to suspend medical institutes in Afghanistan. This move has crushed the aspirations of thousands of young Afghan girls who sought to pursue careers in medicine, nursing, and related fields.

As an organization dedicated to providing free education to Afghan girls, we understand the importance of education in empowering women and girls; thus, the suspension of medical institutes is not only a severe blow to the fundamental rights of Afghan women and girls but also jeopardizes the future of the entire nation.

At Hura, we believe that education is a basic human right, and decisions like these will only lead to the spread of ignorance, poverty, and greater dependency in Afghan society. Our organization is committed to continuing our work, providing a safe and supportive learning environment for Afghan girls, despite the challenges posed by the Taliban's actions.
