💔GOODBYE💔

Hidden Treasures Foundation was notified on May 13th by the County of San Diego that the County is terminating our contracts for services due to “convenience”.

It is with deep sadness that Hidden Treasures Foundation announces the closing of our short-term residential therapeutic program (STRTP), Tiffany’s Place. Tiffany’s Place was one of the only programs in the state of California specialized in serving child survivors of s*x trafficking.

It has been our honor to serve these young ladies over the last 2.5yrs and be part of their healing journey.

We want to thank all our committed staff and generous donors who have made this dream a reality over the last few years and have helped us impact so many precious lives.

While open, Tiffany’s Place received over 700 referrals for placement of children. Our youth were able to experience and build positive childhood memories from carving pumpkins, first Christmas’, birthday celebrations, treatment milestones and more. This program has changed, and saved lives and we are so proud of the work Tiffany’s Place accomplished during it’s time operating.

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of these children, enabling us to provide a program that changed lives.

On any given night across California, thousands of children will be victims of a crime, abused, and sold for s*x. The vast majority of these heinous acts have little to no accountability for their perpetrators. Victims live in shame believing it’s their fault; suffering from mental, emotional, and physical traumas. We believe that every one of them deserve unconditional love, safety, and a life free from exploitation; providing a safe home environment that cultivates and nurtures a path of hope and healing.

That’s why Tiffanys’s Place, Free To Fly, and The Hidden Treasure Foundation Board of Directors have come together to meet these survivors wherever they are in their journey. Our purpose is to walk alongside and help them build better lives; transforming their life’s story into more than just a grim statistic. We help them thrive along the way to their 18th birthday; celebrating wins such as graduating school, offering therapeutic services, and providing enrichment activities. Tiffany’s Place and Free To Fly replace the childhood taken from them with one of hope, healing, and transformation. We can change the narrative for these survivors, but are only able to do so with your support.
