Day 6 of the Project Hero Texas Challenge marked the final day of an unforgettable journey.

It’s hard to describe the emotions of this day, bittersweet in every way. Over the past week, we grew stronger together through our struggles, challenges and victories. What started as a group of riders became a family forever connected by the 2026 Texas Challenge. We rode proudly to finish, yet sad to see it end.

As we arrived, 351 American flags waved in the Texas wind to honor and welcome the peloton. The group rode in near silence, each person reflecting on the miles pedaled, the memories made and the accomplishment of completing the journey together.

Our final miles carried us to the Crowley Veterans Memorial to honor all who have served. One last pedal, one last wreath ceremony and the journey came to a close, leaving behind a new family forged through wind, rain, dust and the long Texas roads.

Thank you to the participants, volunteers, supporters and staff for an unforgettable week.

Day 5 of the Project Hero Texas Challenge was all about family.

Not just the families waiting for us at home, but the one we’ve built together out here on the road. Riders, support crew, law enforcement, volunteers and the communities that have shown up for us every single day, this week has reminded us that none of us ride alone.

We’ve battled wind, rain, changing conditions and long miles, but every challenge has only brought this peloton closer together. The conversations, encouragement, laughter and support shared between everyone involved are creating bonds that will last far beyond Texas roads.

To every person who waved, cheered, es**rted, volunteered or believed in this mission this week, thank you for becoming part of our family too.

One more day. One stronger family.

Day 4 of the Texas Challenge brought our longest ride yet and somehow the energy in this peloton keeps getting stronger.

From the ceremony at III Corps on Fort Hood to the soldiers and kids lining the route cheering us on, today was packed with moments that reminded us why this journey matters.

Once again, law enforcement agencies across Texas showed up in an incredible way, keeping our riders safe and supported mile after mile. We are beyond grateful for every es**rt, every blocked intersection, every wave and every word of encouragement along the way.

What started as a group of riders just a few days ago is turning into something much bigger. You can see it in the conversations at rest stops, the laughter after long miles and the way this team continues to rally around each other when the day gets tough. The bonds being built out here won’t end when the ride does.

Longest day down. Stronger together than ever. Texas Challenge Day 4

Day 3 of the Texas Challenge didn’t make it easy on us, cold wind, rain and miles that tested both grit and resolve. But this team doesn’t back down when conditions get tough… if anything, it brings us closer together.

Through every mile, we had incredible police support riding alongside us, keeping our riders safe and reminding us that we’re never alone out here. A huge thank you to all of the law enforcement jurisdictions who helped es**rt and protect our riders throughout the day. Your support, professionalism and commitment mean more than words can express and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

One of the most powerful moments of the day came at the Texas Central Veterans Cemetery. In the quiet, we paused to reflect, to honor and to remember why we ride. It’s in these moments that everything comes into focus.

Weather can challenge us, but purpose carries us forward.

Day 3: tough, meaningful, unforgettable.

Day 2 of the Project Hero Texas Challenge 🇨🇱

Today was all about Texas roots and the kind of hospitality you can’t quite put into words, but you feel in every mile.

From kids lining the roads with handmade signs and big cheers, to local businesses showing up in full support, to the police es**rts keeping our riders safe every turn of the way… Texas showed up.

And so did our riders.

You can see it happening in real time, bonds forming, stories being shared and a peloton that’s quickly becoming something MUCH bigger than a group of cyclists. They’re riding strong, supporting one another and building connections that will last far beyond this week.

This is what it’s all about.

Day 1 of the Texas Challenge - Always begins with a mix of anticipation and quiet reflection.

Wheels roll out early, but it’s not just the start of a ride, it’s the start of something deeper. For many of our wounded veterans, first responders and supporters, it’s the beginning of new friendships forged through shared miles, mutual respect and a common purpose.

Together we stopped for a wreath-laying ceremony in New Braunfels. It was a moment to pause and remember those who served and sacrificed. Helmets come off, heads bow, thinking of the reasons we ride. Honoring the fallen, supporting the living and ensuring their stories are never forgotten.

Today we became closer with tailwinds at our back and look forward to what tomorrow holds.
