The first report handed to me was my Pathology Report. Next came results of MRIs, CT scans, bloodwork, and more. In addition, I had quite a collection of my own handwritten notes from all my doctor’s appointments. I had papers in my car, papers in my kitchen, papers in my office, papers everywhere, and I saw how quickly this could get out of hand. I created a medical records binder for myself as a
way to take control of my disorganized self and bring some order to this already stressful time. I look back on this chapter of my life as a whirlwind, doing what I could to say good-bye to cancer and get myself healthy. I am so grateful to my amazing group of doctors and my entire health care team. I created this binder as a way of giving back, and hopefully, other patients like me, will benefit from a little organizational help. There may have been days when I couldn’t find my car keys, but ask me for my Pathology Reports, and I could give them to you in two seconds flat! With Best Wishes,
