A bit of a to when we found out out “little” event held in Chino was selected as the West Region Event of the Year. We are now 1 of 4 events up for the NATIONAL Event of the Year. Excited to find out the results in February!

We are excited to announce that our event was nominated and WON West Region’s Spirit of Strides Event of the Year for the American Cancer Society! What an exciting honor to be nominated, but to win is just exciting! This would not have been possible without the leadership of our planning team, led by Janet Howe! We were recognized for the creative initiatives like “Pigs with a Purpose” to the diverse outreach efforts and the remarkable growth in attendance! Thanks for partners like RitFit we are able to help patients get the best care if they must travel away from home. This can place an extra emotional and financial burden on patients and caregivers during an already challenging time. The American Cancer Society is trying to make this difficult situation easier for both cancer patients and their families through our lodging programs.
