So proud to be part of the RSF FD FOUNDATION. The Foundation was able to grant $50,000. on behalf of the wishes of a Rancho Santa Fe resident to purchase a complete set of HURST E-hydraulic tools for RSF Station 3/ Engine 263. One step closer to outfitting all RSF Type 1 engines with Hurst E Hydraulic tools. One step closer to transitioning away from small gasoline engines on fire apparatus in alignment with CA AB1346 banning sale of new small engines. One step closer to better helping our first responders to help us in times of emergency.

Giving Tuesday is rapidly approaching. Neighbors please take this opportunity to enhance the abilities of our First Responders, firefighters in their work to help us. Donate to the Fire Foundation that supports our firefighters with tools, education, equipment, detox sauna etc. Help them help us.

A moving tribute and farewell to Captain Chris Mertz.

The RSFFD firefighters sent the Fire Foundation a thank you video for the donation of video equipment. The equipment will be used to produce RSFFD training videos and Public Safety Announcements (PSA’s) for wildland safety and defensible space for all of San Diego County.

Thank you to the Rancho Santa Fe Fire District Foundation for providing the Fire District with video filming and editing equipment.
