Coronado Masters Association - Swimming Coronado Masters Association (CMA) is a non-profit, tax-exempt (501.c.3) swim club for adults 18 years of age and older. Beginners welcome!

Non-profit status: CMA is a non-profit, tax-exempt (501.c.3) swim club for adults 18 years of age and older. We are one of several San Diego area clubs registered with the U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS)* through the Local Masters Swimming Committee (LMSC) for San Diego and Imperial Counties. Purpose: to enhance members’ physical and general fitness and health through a program of regular swimming wo

rkouts, open-water swims and rejuvenating social events. Mascot: The California Spiny Lobster is commonly known (among divers who take them as game) as a night crawler since they come out a night to feed. Since we swim at night and freestyle is more accurately called the crawl stroke, the name Night Crawlers seemed appropriate for the Coronado Masters Association.
