Misiónes Juveniles: Nos dirigimos a ustedes para solicitar ayuda en nombre de un joven de México —Víctor, originario de León, Guanajuato— quien estaba entusiasmado por participar en nuestras misiones juveniles, pero que lamentablemente perdió su boleto de viaje a raíz de la alerta de viaje emitida para México en febrero, debido a la actividad de los cárteles.
Asimismo, una pareja que ha participado de manera constante en nuestros viajes misioneros —la familia Salgado— no pudo recuperar la inversión económica que había realizado. Nuestro objetivo es recaudar $1,000 de los cuales $300 ya han sido aportados por nuestro fondo de Misiones.

Nota: A Víctor se le había asignado la labor de trabajar con 15 jóvenes adultos con discapacidad que residirán de por vida en el orfanato estatal de Tijuana.

Por su parte, la pareja Salgado tenía previsto ministrar a cerca de 30 jóvenes en dicho orfanato estatal. Constituyen un recurso invaluable para el equipo, ya que preparan sus clases, actividades artísticas, obsequios, etc., con total excelencia.

Information on Youth Missions

We are reaching out for help on behalf of a young man from Mexico, Victor, from León Guanajuato, who was enthusiastic about participating in our youth Missions but regrettably lost his ticket following the travel advisory to Mexico in February due to cartel activity. Furthermore, a couple who have consistently attended our missions trips, Salgado family from Oregon, were unable to recoup their financial investment. Our goal is to raise $1,000 with $300 already contributed by our Missions fund.
The funds will be used to purchase their ✈️ flight tickets.

Note: Victor was assigned to work with 15 handicapped young adults that will live in the state orphanage of Tijuana for life.

Also the Salgado couple were to minister to about 30 young people at the state orphanage. They are an excellent asset to the team... preparing their classes, art, gifts etc with excellence.

We are pleased to announce that our Youth Missions 2026 team is now fully assembled.
As we move forward, we will unite in prayer, seeking the Lord's guidance and blessings.

Our prayer is that the hearts of young people and children will be receptive to God's message. May our young people and young adults be effective instruments of God's love and care as they minister to these groups.

The Beginning of a Vision...that was to come.

In 2013, our son Jonathan Valverde introduced us to a group of orphans living in a Casa Hogar, (A Home Orphanage) marking the inception of our long-term commitment to serving underprivileged communities in Tijuana, BC.
This encounter led to the establishment of Restoration Youth Missions "Hands of Mercy," guided by the heartfelt mantra "Here Am I, Send Me."

Our ministry now provides support to underprivileged children, orphans, and impoverished families, while collaborating with existing ministries.

The early stages of this endeavor have given rise to a ministry that enriches the lives of young individuals who participate in outreach programs for the less fortunate. We have come to realize that God had a purpose in mind when our son introduced us to this vision.
This ministry has brought immense joy to us and others, knowing that we are making a positive impact.

Our team is comprised of Pastor Efraim and Irene Valverde, Jonathan Valverde, Ruben, and Rosalba Gutiérrez.
We are grateful for the moral and financial support provided by pastors, churches, and other contributors, which is essential to the continuation of this vital ministry.

The scope of our vision is multifaceted, and we rely on the financial assistance of those who cannot participate directly.
