We’ve received five items so far — and we need dozens more! 💛
As many of you know, this year we’re shifting our focus from full-room makeovers to our “Go to Your Room” comfort boxes — tangible, healing gifts that reach far more children in medical crisis. Each box is filled with room-related items designed to bring comfort, connection, and a sense of place to a child whose world has been turned upside down.
We’re making this shift because funding for pediatric cancer and related research has been slashed at major universities, and groundbreaking grants have been pulled for reasons beyond the control of those doing the work. The ripple effect is real — fewer resources for families, fewer community grants, and fewer kids getting the help they need.
Our mission has always been to show up when it matters most. Now, that means stretching every dollar, every donation, every act of kindness — so that we can reach more children who could benefit from these healing items.
