American Combat Veterans of War is a non profit organization dedicated to the men and women who have stepped to the line and raised their right hand to serve and protect this great nation. ACVOW volunteers take the calls of veterans of all services who have needs small and great. Making a difference one veteran at a time. A top priority of the ACVOW organization is the support and mentorship program for incarcerated veterans in the San Diego County Sheriff Department Vista Detention Center. This program is designed and facilitated by the Sheriff Department staff and volunteer mentors under the direction of fellow Vietnam veteran William Rider. Hundreds of vets have moved through this successful program where veteran inmates live, learn and grow based on their shared military experience. ACVOW is proud to support to the San Diego county community and with your donation it will continue to add purpose and hope for all struggling veterans. Support us today with a donation.
