Adopted and foster children face trauma that most people cannot comprehend. In addition to abuse, neglect or both, these children commonly experience Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD), ADHD and the inability to feel safe even in their new environment. Their fear makes learning very difficult and often almost impossible. They lack understanding of communication, perceive things more energetically than verbally and they struggle to express their emotions. This leads to a lot of behavior problems in the school system and also in their new family.
Untreated this leads to more serious issues as they grow older. Sadly foster and adopted children lead the statistics in su***de, school drop out, homelessness, drug abuse and being victims of s*x trade.
What if you knew there was a solution?
