⚽️🌊 SAN DIEGO WAVE FC x AYSO NORTH PARK NIGHT!🌊⚽️

We’ve put together an AYSO North Park night at the San Diego Wave FC game on Sunday, October 25! The Wave, San Diego’s professional women’s soccer team, plays at 4 PM at Snapdragon Stadium. It also happens to be our Picture Day, so we thought — why not make a whole soccer day out of it?

Players can keep their jerseys on after pictures and we can fill the stands with AYSO North Park!

Tickets are $25 flat — no fees — for lower bowl seats, and the Wave is working with us so teams can sit together. If you want to join us, let your coach or team volunteer know how many tickets you need.

We do need one person from each team to coordinate the tickets. If you’re willing to do it, please let your coach know! They already have a lot going on, and it should be pretty simple — get the ticket count from your team, fill out the form, work directly with the Wave on payment, and get the tickets to your families.

The deadline is October 5, but the sooner we get our orders in, the better chance we have of keeping everyone together.

More Picture Day information will come as we get closer. For now, mark October 25 on your calendar and coordinate with your team volunteers to get your Wave tickets!

VAMOS WAVE!!! 🌊🌊🌊

Big goals aren’t just scored on the field—they’re achieved through leadership. We’re so proud of our youth volunteers giving back to the game they love! ⚽️

If you’re looking for a way to give back, be part of the soccer community, and actually have fun doing it, this is it. You’ll build leadership skills, meet new people, and (for high schoolers) earn community service hours along the way.

There are several ways to get involved depending on what you’re into—and yes, there are incentives. Volunteers earn tickets that can be redeemed at the snack shack (because snacks matter).

They came, they played, they conquered! 🥇🔥⚽️

Congratulations to our 12U North Park Girls for winning the Mt. Helix Labor Day Tournament! We got a last minute invite and had to gather a group of players to make it happen. With only one practice under their belt, they came together and played with heart, determination, amazing teamwork, and grit.

What a special opportunity for these girls to kick off their season by bonding as athletes and strengthening their friendships, even though they’ll be playing on different teams this season. That‘s the power of girls coming together to play soccer ❤️ We’re so proud of how hard they worked, especially with how hot it was! 🔥

Thank you to the our amazing Coaches and Families for supporting the team. From the tents, the fans, the cold Gatorade, the popsicles, the encouragement, the planning, and the time, you helped make it happen!

⚽️❤️ North Park Girls rule!!! ❤️⚽️

🎉⚽️ We kicked off the season with an exciting Opening Day! ⚽️🎉

Thank you to our Coaches, Referees, Youth Volunteers, Snack Shack Volunteers, Board Members, Families, and folks who helped set up and break down the fields. You all made the day a successful one for our players.

It was amazing to see our teams shine on the field, and we’re looking forward to an amazing season ahead. Cheers for Soccer Saturdays!

⚽️ We’re back baby! ⚽️ Excited for another Fun season with our AYSO North Park Players, Volunteers and Families!

‼️ We need your help: If you have one of the first games in the morning, please come about an hour early and help get the fields set up. If you have the last game before 1 PM, please help put everything away. Same thing for the evening games — setup before and breakdown after. The more hands we have, the quicker it goes. Thank you in advance!

⚠️ Kids Zone: We’re all here for the kids. Help us keep our fields positive and remember that abusive behavior toward players, coaches or referees will not be tolerated.

A few other things:

⚽️ Shin guards are required. Athletic shoes or soccer cleats are fine.
⚽️ No jewelry. Earrings have to come out — taping over them is not allowed.
⚽️ Bring water. We’ll have a water jug in front of the Soccer Snack Shack for refills, so no one should go thirsty.
⚽️ Have soccer gear your kids have outgrown? Drop it in our AYSO North Park Free Little Soccer Bin at the Snack Shack. If you need something, take something.
⚽️ Please leave furry friends at home or outside the fence — no pets on the fields.
⚽️ Pack your trash and leave no trace on the fields!

2 more days! Let’s go AYSO North Park! ⚽️🫶❤️

⚽️ Lambeau (our unofficial gentle-giant-mascot who isn’t allowed on the fields 🐾) says “Come get your gear!” ⚽️

We want to make sure every player is ready to hit the pitch this season! We have a few items available for families who could use them.

💙 Email [email protected] to claim an item and coordinate pickup.

♻️💟 Keep an eye out for our Little Free Soccer Gear bin at the Morley Snack Shark during the regular season! Leave an item, take an item!

💌 Reminder to check your emails for updates in the next couple of weeks. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes to make it all happen. We’re so excited to see everyone out on the fields soon!

⚽️ Keeping the game safe, fair, and fun every Saturday! ⚽️ Our referee volunteers dedicate their time, patience and expertise to ensure our players have the best experience on the field while keeping us all accountable. No VAR needed to prove their dedication!

We also want to highlight the amazing work they are doing to mentor our kiddos. We are so excited to offer our Youth Volunteer mentorship program to give our players the opportunity to grow their leadership skills through reffing. Please help our youth volunteers succeed by practicing positive attitudes on the sidelines.

If you see a referee at Morley, please say hello and thank them for all they do to make the games happen. And don’t forget to respect the whistle!

We can’t wait to see our U10 & U12 families and players at the assessments this week! We’ll be collecting outgrown, lightly used soccer gear during the assessments for our gear swap:

⚽️ Cleats
⚽️ Shinguards
⚽️ Soccer balls
⚽️ Other equipment you no longer use

Thanks for donating your gear and sharing with families who can use it. We’ll see you on the field!
