❤️ Every great love story leaves a mark.
Mine began – and ended – with a wrinkled, stubborn, endlessly lovable bulldog named Winston.
🐾 When Winston passed in 2019, my world cracked wide open. The silence in our home was deafening, the absence of his snoring unbearable.
💔 Grief hit me like a tidal wave. I cried until there were no tears left, then kept moving through the days like a ghost of myself. For months, I couldn’t imagine ever feeling whole again.
✨ And then—something shifted.
One afternoon, I visited a dear friend and his senior bulldog. The moment that sweet dog leaned into me, I felt Winston’s spirit nudge me forward.
That quiet, slobbery reminder sparked a thought: Winston’s story didn’t have to end with grief. It could begin a legacy.
🌟 That legacy became The Winston Project – a nonprofit dedicated to ending the suffering of abused, abandoned and neglected dogs.
Our mission is simple, but urgent:
🐕🦺 Raise funds for dog rescue groups and shelters that work tirelessly to save dogs in crisis.
💉 Provide medical care.
🏠 Offer safety and love.
These groups are the boots on the ground—pulling dogs from horrific situations, providing care, offering second chances. But while they fight to save lives, they rarely have the time or resources to fundraise.
👉 That’s where Winston Project steps in.
💵 Through the Winston Project, we raise money and distribute it directly to the groups who need it most. Grants that go straight to the dogs.
Straight to the vet bills. Straight to the kennels, the food, the rescues that make survival possible.
🌈 Because love doesn’t end when a heartbeat does. Winston taught me that. His life—and his loss—turned into a mission: to help one dog at a time, until no dog suffers alone, afraid or unwanted.
