As part of the NBC 7 San Diego "In Your Neighborhood" series, they did a sub-story on how some criminals using wifi blockers to keep security cameras from recording them. It's an interesting story and our city's very own Crime Prevention Specialist, Shanah Clevenger, does a great job in this interview! 🙂🍋

Another part of the expose on Lemon Grove tonight on NBC 7 San Diego's "In Your Neighborhood" highlighted that Lemon Grove was the only city in the last 8 year cycle to meet the affordable housing requirements by the state. We still have more work to do, but good job, Lemon Grove!

Lemon Grove Coffee - the newest coffee shop in Lemon Grove was highlighted today on NBC 7 San Diego in a piece called "In The Neighborhood."

The recently-opened coffee shop uses beans from Talitha Coffee, a San Diego-based company that hires and provides holistic support for survivors of s*x trafficking.

Lemon Grove was highlighted by NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 today! They run a regular series called "In Your Neighborhood" ("En Tu Comunidad" on Telemundo 20) to highlight local towns and neighborhoods in San Diego.

In each episode, they go deeper into the challenges, opportunities and characters of each community. They also anchor their shows from one of the special places that make each location memorable.

Today, May 2, they aired live from Treganza Heritage Park kicking off the 4 p.m. on NBC and 5 p.m. on Telemundo 20. I'll post the nieghborhood piece they edit together for the news tonight. Can't wait to see it! 😃🍋
