Citizens Climate Lobby - Wasatch Front The Salt Lake City chapter is one of over 590 CCL chapters committed to enacting federal "carbon fee and dividend" legislation.

Dave Hart explains how a couple of degrees in temperature can make a huge difference on both local and global climate. Think of the average temperature of earth like your body temperature... a couple of degrees higher than 98.7˚C and you sure don't feel good. The same goes for earth!

Justin's LTE made a plea to secure continued funding for NCAR, the National Center for Atmospheric Research which provides critical data for managing environmental issues in the face of a changing climate. However, the recent appropriation bills did NOT secure funding for NCAR so it is still at risk. Please reach out to your Representatives and Senators and ask them to protect NCAR from being defunded.
