About Chef Celebration: Chef Celebration San Diego is a nonprofit organization that strives to enhance the knowledge and potential of promising young chefs and lay a foundation of excellence for San Diego's culinary future. Through a series of events held annually (Beer Master Pairing Event at Stone Brewing Co., San Diego Beer Week Cap Off Beer Garden at the Lodge at Torrey Pines, and Chef Celebra

tion's Dinner Series) the foundation raises funds for culinary scholarships that provide ambitious, aspiring chefs an all expenses paid, intensive weeklong training course at the highly regarded Culinary Institute of America Greystone in Napa, CA. These Chef Celebration events are unique in that they allow chefs the opportunity to give back to their profession after giving their time and talents to other charities throughout the year. Since its inception in 1995 Chef Celebration has raised over $225,000 in scholarship funding and helped more than 80 local, aspiring chefs further their professional careers. Do you know a hard working, aspiring chef / line cook deserving of a culinary scholarship? Chef Celebration is looking for 2019 candidates who fit the below criteria to send on a week long trip to The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone. Please apply or share this with your team!

2019 CULINARY TRIP Dates: April 21st-April 27th.

We are looking for some great candidates who fit the below criteria:
· You must be a US citizen or legal resident of the US with a valid work permit.
· You must have a Valid Driver’s License and a Major Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
· You must be at least 21 years of age.
· You must be able to take verbal and written instructions, and successfully complete written tests in English.
· You must not hold a position above Sous Chef.
· You must be able to prove that you have worked in a kitchen for at least 2 of the last 4 years.
· You must be able to prove your commitment to the San Diego Culinary Community.
