HOPE worldwide - San Diego Chapter This is a volunteer based Chapter for HOPE worldwide in the San Diego area! Serving the local commun Virgin Islands with a pool of over 33,000 volunteers.

HOPE worldwide Chapters carry out three primary functions: serving the poor, inspiring others and fundraising. Led and driven by dedicated volunteers from the local International Churches of Christ and affiliated congregations, Chapters strive to develop programs and partnerships to meet the unique needs of their local communities. Recent initiatives include home fire prevention campaigns, disaste

r preparedness, response and recovery efforts, meeting the needs of the victims of natural disasters, hosting blood drives, mentoring youth, through the Saturday STEM Academies, and providing food and other services to the homeless. The United States now has 102 certified Chapters serving 240 communities in 40 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Every Chapter has an active local advisory committee and Chapter Director who reports to our Headquarters office. Chapters operate their programs locally but receive guidance, resources, administrative and technical support from HOPE worldwide staff.
