SHERO!! https://www.facebook.com/GossipGrill/posts/pfbid02eXeP3rkyMJBh3hnYLaKmXhsvFEdxwuY7SoM7QZWfdkQ6Btv3xX9ZdNtddgwkhW5zl One of our long time supporters gets her DAY!!

It’s official: October 6th is Moe Girton Day in the City of San Diego. 🥹🏳️‍🌈

For decades, Moe has created more than bars. She’s created space. Space for q***r women to gather, to celebrate, to feel safe, to be loud, to fall in love, to find community, and to unapologetically be ourselves.

Today, the City of San Diego officially recognized what so many of us have known for years: Moe Girton has made this city better.

From Gossip Grill to the countless people, organizations, causes, and members of our LGBTQ+ community she has supported along the way, her impact reaches far beyond these walls.

So yeah… Moe has her own damn day now. 💅

Happy Moe Girton Day, San Diego.
We love you, Moe. And we’re so fu***ng proud. 🖤🏳️‍🌈

Poor lil' Ace is hanging in there, and we're giving Ace everything he needs, in the hardest chapter of his little life.

But we're not ready to give up on him... but it's getting more and more difficult to keep him comfortable.
Gabapentin, C*D, Adequan shots, THC, homemade food, probiotics, Vetoryl for cushings, UTI antibiotics. . . AND of course TLC.

His eyes bright, his tail is wagging, and he never lets our "pack" (emmie, banjo, gracie, hope and cole) out of his sight. He logs hundreds of steps a day. He is still telling us all about it everyday, although his hearing is not what it use to be he is quick to answer the call of DINNER!!

We're posting today, hoping that we can get some HELP with our vet bills and medications. As most of you know, we aren't huge fans of begging on line, however. DESPERATE TIMES call for DESPERATE MEASURES. Like most small rescues right now, our donations are way down and with our dentals and other senior dogs healthcare...like a thryoid condition ( talkin' to YOU, Banjo) and Ace's multiple health issues.....we're really in need of some help these days.

We've gathered over 6000 followers since 2011 , if a just fraction of our Lucky Pup family would donate just a few dollars.... (remember it's a TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION)... we would be set for many months to give the Lucky Pups everything they need. Glands, nails, teeth, pain meds, thyroid med, cushing meds OHMY!!

Mister Steve and I have been donating and covering the BIG, BIG gap for more than a year. But we've reached a time when we REALLY need to reach out H E L P !

Those of you know us, know that NOBODY GOES WITHOUT something they need... both of us have seen to that, and have been in the trenches for dogs for more than a decade.

Please share. Remember, we're one of the "good" rescues that never fail our dogs. (or cats for that matter) xoxoxo

Thank you!
Christine and Steve

Big thank you for the donation of this amazing lil' stroller from Mister Kevin.
When he donated it, we knew "sometime" in the future it would come in handy. Well, it seems THE FUTURE IS NOW. Ace's walks on his own are pretty much confined to the house and front garden and this new set of wheels lets him get out an about. He quickly decided that he loves to get out and BARK at the neighbor dogs from his new perch. I think I heard him say under his breath.....neiner, neiner, weiner....
