🐾 THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHY THEY’RE HERE… 💔

These two beautiful dogs are sitting in a shelter right now, surrounded by unfamiliar sounds and faces. They don’t understand what happened or why the family and home they once knew are gone.

What they do know is that they’re waiting. ❤️
Waiting for someone to notice them.
Waiting for someone to choose them.

Waiting for a family to say, “You’re coming home with us.”

💗 Foster Needed for Lottie 💗

Lottie is a 2-year-old, 22-pound Chihuahua/Shar Pei mix who we rescued from a high-kill shelter. This sweet girl has been through an incredibly difficult journey and arrived to us absolutely terrified.

Right now, Lottie needs one thing more than anything: a patient, compassionate foster who will give her time to decompress and learn that she is finally safe. She wants to be loved—she just doesn’t quite know what that feels like yet. 💔

Lottie is very scared on a leash, so a calm and quiet home with a small, secure yard where she can potty while she builds confidence would be ideal. We also think a calm, confident dog in the home could help show her the way and encourage her to come out of her shell.

She doesn’t need someone to push her. She needs someone willing to give her space, kindness, consistency, and time.
