A group of Guardian Scholars recently participated in a horizon-expanding career tour around the Bay Area. Along with a group of foster youth from the Guardian Scholars programs at San Francisco State and Sacramento State Universities, we visited the offices of industry leaders like Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Salesforce, exploring new possibilities and exciting careers.

We’re grateful to Guardian Scholar Alum, Kesia, and her work through the Future Leaders Career Program for sharing her passion and support with our youth!

Promises2Kids is proud to be a grantee of the San Diego County Employees’ Charitable Organization’s 2026 Community Grant. Through their support, we were able to purchase the very first piece of our future playground for our Early Education Center.

In addition to providing countless hours of wholesome fun, this playground piece reflects our commitment to providing safe, accessible spaces for young former foster youth who have started families of their own.
