Motherhood can be beautiful, rewarding, exhausting, and overwhelming, all at the same time.

This Maternal Mental Health Month, we’re raising awareness about postpartum depression and the unique challenges many young mothers who have experienced foster care may face. For mothers who entered care at a young age, those early experiences can have lasting effects, increasing the risk of postpartum depression later in life.

Healing, support, and connection matter. Together, we can help create the village every parent deserves.

A year of growth, leadership, and connection came to a meaningful close for both Men’s and Women’s Leadership groups through honest conversations, mentoring, shared experiences, and lasting relationships.

Participants reflected on how far they’ve come while celebrating the accomplishments of their peers. From recognizing graduating seniors to discussing leadership in the workplace.

These final gatherings were a powerful reminder that growth happens when young people are supported, encouraged, and empowered to lead.
