It’s not only unlawful to impede the response of emergency vehicles, you could be delaying life-saving medical help.

• On the freeway, carefully move out of the lane used by emergency crews; again, use your blinker.
• If you are at a green traffic light, look for emergency vehicles before proceeding through the intersection.
• After the crew passes, carefully merge back into traffic.

Unboxing time! New equipment, stronger response 🌊💙

The San Diego Fire-Rescue Lifeguard Division recently unboxed newly arrived Demaree Inflatable Boats (DIBs)—enhancing safety and response in San Diego.

These lifesaving tools were made possible through the San Diego Fire-Rescue Foundation, funded by a generous grant from the San Diego River Conservancy.

Grants like this play a critical role in ensuring our first responders have the equipment they need to save lives—and you can be part of that impact too.
