MW John R. Heisner Lodge #442 est. on January 1, 2023. He affiliated with Amity Lodge No. 442 in San Diego in 1985. He served as Master of that lodge in 2004.

Brother John Richard Heisner was raised a Master Mason in Eugene Lodge No. 11 under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Oregon on March 5, 1969. John was also the recipient of the 2013 Hiram Award from his lodge. Brother Heisner’s service to the Grand Lodge began that same year. He served two terms on the Grand Lodge Research Committee and two terms on the Jurisprudence Committee. John served a

s Inspector of the 909th Masonic District for five years; completed a three-year term as a trustee of the Masonic Homes of California and he is a founding member of the Public Schools Advisory Council in San Diego. John served as Grand Orator for Most Worshipful Brother Frank Loui in 2012 and is the author of four published books on the subject of masonic symbolism. Brother Heisner is a 33° Inspector General Honorary of the San Diego Scottish Rite Bodies and a member of Al Bahr Shrine. He is also a member of the San Diego York Rite Bodies, the San Diego Conclave of the Red Cross of Constantine, the Rosicrucian College and the Southern California Past Masters Association. He is one of the founding members of Lux Lodge, a California Traditional Observance Masonic lodge. In 2014, he was invested with the DeMolay Honorary Legion of Honor. In 2015, he was inducted as a Fellow of the Philalethes Society.

I would like to share with all of you some pictures taken during the 2026 Masons of California Leadership Retreat in Palm Springs, California this past weekend. Please take a moment to check them out as we fellowshiped with Grand Lodge Officers and Brethren from different Masonic Districts.

“The Home of the Finest Brethren in San Diego held our Stated Meeting for the month of May 2026!”

“First, Brother Francis Flores, our Chaplain, led us in prayer before dinner and also offered prayers for the Brethren and their families who are sick, as well as for all our military members who are deployed and currently protecting our Motherland!”

“Then, I led all the Brethren and Sisters herein assembled in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of our country!” 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

“Followed by recognizing all the Mothers present in the dining hall and presenting them with Pink Roses!”

“Then, we called upon all the Brothers and Sisters celebrating their anniversaries, birthdays, and those who were Raised during the month of May!”

“We all sang Happy Birthday to all the birthday celebrants and especially to MW John R. Heisner, whose birthday was on May 11th!”

“Then, we recognized the presence of the former Inspector of the 913th Masonic District, The Worshipful Ronald Rash, and I presented him with a Barong and the lapel pin of MW John R. Heisner!”

“Followed by the announcement of WB Fidel Soriano regarding Masons4Mitts, as the hat was passed for donations in support of this very worthy cause!”
