Bichon Frise Club of San Diego CLUB OBJECTIVES
1. To conduct Specialty Conformation, Companion and Performance events under the Rules and Regulations of the American Kennel Club.

Founded in 1964, the Bichon Frise Club of San Diego, Inc., further referred to as the BFCSD, is a group of Bichon Frise dog owners sharing common interests in breeding and raising Bichon Frise dogs. To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of pure-bred Bichons Frises and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
2. To urge members and breeders to accept the standar

d of the breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Bichon Frise shall be judged.
3. To do all in its power to protect and advance the interest of the breed and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at Specialty Conformation, Companion and Performance events.
4. To support and encourage research designed to improve the health and welfare of the Bichon Frise, including financial support of Bichon-specific rescue groups.
6. To educate the fancy and the general public on the qualities of our breed, through publications, seminars or other such mediums deemed appropriate to this task

We are looking forward to this great weekend

Tomorrow is the start of our show weekend. We will be doing ground setups. Great Danes, Goldens and Poodles will hold their specialty shows on Thursday and our all-breed shows will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday. What's Cookin will be serving breakfast and lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday! We will once again have dog show tours where those interested in showing can learn what it's all about. The weather will be warm, but there is plenty of beautiful shade trees and, to really cool off, our home made ice cream vendor will be there selling his great ice cream. There is also the wonderful country store and boutique at Bates, with great selections of dried fruits, nuts and candies. Hope to see you soon!
