Celebrating Community, Impact & 25 Years of Public Health Champions 💛

On April 10, 2026, we gathered in the Board Chambers at the San Diego County Administrative Building to honor the incredible individuals and organizations shaping a healthier future for our region at the Live Well San Diego Public Health Champion Awards Ceremony.

We are beyond proud to celebrate Grandma Lulu’s Table recognized as a Central Region Public Health Champion.

This honor builds on an extraordinary milestone—being named a 2025 Live Well San Diego Public Health Champion by the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency. At the 25th annual awards ceremony, Grandma Lulu’s Table was one of just 14 champions recognized for their outstanding commitment to improving the health and well-being of our community.

Congratulations to Grandma Lulu’s Table for this well-deserved recognition and for continuing to make a lasting impact in the lives of families across our community. 🌿

Nurishing Our Community Together

On January 17, 2026, Grandma LuLu’s Table proudly partnered with Learn 4 Life and Chef de Cuisine at San Diego Workforce Innovation High School – City Heights to serve 150 nutritious Power Bowls packed with fresh greens and vibrant veggies! 💚

Students and teachers rotated through five interactive stations — leafy greens, colorful veggies, protein, fiber-rich carbs, and healthy fats — building their own custom Power Bowl while learning how each ingredient fuels lifelong health.

We’re honored to nourish bodies, spark curiosity, and empower the next generation with the tools to eat well for life. 💪
