s. Jr’s Trauma Care Initiative is non-profit organization, but its more than just serving our community within Mental Health and advocate partner services. We are a family, a family who lost our son, grandson, cousin, nephew, God-son and best friend. Juan Carlos Munoz Jr had just turned 18 when he was murdered and his life taken for this world. He was, even at young age, already serving his community by volunteering his time at community health fair events and being a mentor to youth and friends. Jr would have contributed so much to our communities all by himself. He would have been a magnificent mental health provider as his aspirations drove him to be. As a result, we Jr’s family, created Jr’s Trauma Care Initiative in order to help people find purpose and treatment for traumatic experiences in life. It will take Jr’s entire family and community to build what he would have done, if given the opportunity. Join us in what he would have described as being a real and true human by helping each other in our darkest and most traumatic of times. We together with our angel Jr will do good in his name, our name is Jr’s Trauma Care Initiative.
