Hi all! We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this time! We have been busy making masks using our scrap fabric and supplies. We would like to distribute these masks throughout our community, prioritizing healthcare workers, the at-risk population, and any other essential employees!

These masks are not N95 but are compliant with CDC recommendations for face coverings. We are local to Alpine and willing to drop off to anyone who is in need nearby. Please message us if you are interested or know someone who is!

We want to say a huge thank you to Paradise Sewing for donating 3 brand new sewing machines to our non-profit! These machines will greatly improve our ability to make gowns at our sewing days. We are so grateful and can't wait until we can start using them!

Also a huge thank you to Diane Deweese for all the help with coordinating to get the machines!

Meet Samantha a brave warrior diagnosed with Osteosarcoma for the second time. She has undergone amputation on one of her legs and surgeries to both right and left lungs. She is partnering with MTF as she and her friends make cute hospital gowns for kids, which MTF is helping share her gowns with other children and hospitals.

We have some thanks to give! We are so incredibly blown away by the tremendous amount of support we've received over the past few months as we've begun to build this project back up! Thank you to the Alpine Kiwanis Club for helping us get this project up and running with their generous financial support. Shoutouts to Dee Dee Goodrich and all of her wonderful friends from Rise City Church for their support and amazing contributions. Additionally, thank you to Tracey Kennedy at Attention Getters, for donating our NEW vinyl patterns free of cost. HUGE shoutout to Jennifer Doucet for helping us navigate the world of creating nonprofits! Shoutout to Jessica Webb from the Alpine Sun for helping spread the news of our story from last weekend! And finally, none of this would be possible without ALL of our lovely volunteers. We are so grateful for your interest and time in our project, and we hope to continue to work with each one of you in the future. We've collected over $2500 in donations this summer and completed around 100 gowns (completely blowing our initial expectations out of the water!) We look forward to sharing more of this journey with you all in the months to come. Stay tuned for updates on our new website :)

Hey everybody! Just a reminder that we’ve got some super cute scrunchies that you can buy to help fund the cost of a hospital gown (3 for $5)! Our scrunchies are made from scrap fabric from gowns so they are sustainable and each one matches a pediatric patient’s gown!

Scrunchies are available to purchase at the Alpine Dance Academy, Gym Trix, and Marlene’s Carriage Trade Hair Design in Alpine. You can also contact us if you wish to purchase scrunchies outside of Alpine!
