There are people who leave a mark on camp not because they are the loudest in the room, but because of the kindness, warmth, and joy they quietly share with everyone around them. Stella Arrellano was one of those people. Over the past several years, Stella was a beloved part of the Camp Reach for the Sky Resident Oncology Camp and Family Camp communities. She had a gentle spirit that made others feel welcome, seen, and cared for. Her smile, her kindness, and the genuine friendships she built with fellow campers and volunteers made camp a brighter place for everyone who knew her. One of Stella’s greatest joys was sharing her talents with others. Whether she was performing at the talent show or singing around the campfire, she brought confidence and heart to every performance. Those moments were always about bringing people together, creating memories, and reminding us all of the courage it takes to share a piece of yourself with those around you. Stella embodied friendship, resilience, compassion, and finding joy even during life’s most difficult moments. While our hearts are heavy, we are incredibly grateful for the time we shared with Stella and her family. Her spirit will forever be part of our campfires, our talent shows, and the countless memories that connect our camp family. We will miss her deeply, but we will continue to carry her light with us every time we gather together. To Stella’s family, thank you for sharing her with our community. It was a privilege to watch her grow, cheer her on, and witness the joy she brought to so many lives. Stella, you will always be a part of our camp family. Your songs, your smile, and your gentle heart will never be forgotten.
