Thank you to everyone who came out today to support our mutual aid efforts! We couldn’t have done it without you and your generous contributions. Today we distributed 90 sandwiches, lots of snack packs, sanitary kits, shoes, water, Gatorade, and Disaster Ready Cards.

Mutual Aid is:
⭐️ A response to system failures
⭐️ Community members coming together to care for the immediate needs of our neighbors
⭐️ Mutual aid is not new. Cultures have been practicing mutual aid for centuries
⭐️ Mutual aid is solidarity not charity.

The climate crisis IS HERE y’all and it’s poor & working class, black & brown folks are disproportionately impacted by it. Our unhoused neighbors are particularly vulnerable. In the wake of a disaster, mutual aid is what fills the gaps.

Join us Saturday August 10th, from 12PM-4PM for a training to prepare and equip you with the tools to act in moments of climate disaster. Because if history tells us anything, it’s that those who can act in crisis, are those who can shape history and the future.
