✨ Join the SDCEFT Board! ✨

The San Diego Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy (SDCEFT) is looking for two new board members to join our team! 💛

We’re currently seeking:
🤝 Membership/Attendee Engagement
Perfect for someone who enjoys bringing people together and creating a welcoming sense of community.

Responsibilities include:
💌 Reaching out to potential attendees and inviting them to upcoming events
💬 Encouraging participation, questions, and connection during events
🫶 Helping attendees feel welcomed, included, and heard
📝 Gathering attendee feedback and sharing it with the Events Committee

💰 Treasurer/Financial Manager
A great fit for someone who is organized, comfortable with numbers, and interested in supporting SDCEFT behind the scenes.

Responsibilities include:
📊 Managing and/or overseeing board finances and coordinating with SDC staff to ensure funds are appropriately accounted for and dispersed
💵 Working with the Chair and Directors to propose annual budget changes
🎟️ Collecting funds at event registration tables
🗓️ Both positions include attending monthly board meetings and collaborating with our SDCEFT team.

Joining the board is a wonderful opportunity to become more involved in the local EFT community, build connections with fellow clinicians, and help support the growth of SDCEFT’s community, events, and programming.

What a special morning at our Birds, the Bees, & EFT Brunch + Learn 🐝🕊️💛

So grateful to gather with such a thoughtful community of therapists for a rich and honest conversation around s*x, intimacy, and attachment in couples work. Huge thank you to Dr. Scott Woolley and Winnie Lee for sharing their wisdom on navigating s*xual assessments with couples, increasing our comfort and confidence in talking about s*x in the therapy room, and thoughtfully integrating the EFT model into conversations around intimacy and s*xual connection.

These are the conversations that help us grow—not just as clinicians, but in our capacity to create safer, more attuned spaces for our clients. Grateful for the vulnerability, curiosity, laughter, and meaningful dialogue in the room. 💫
