PPF provides significant financial support & donates over 25,000 hours of volunteer time each year to keep our shelter no-kill PPF benefits the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter. Lost and abandoned animals have a second chance at a good life– thanks to the Pet Project Foundation and the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter.

Sweet adoption news for Lily! 🩷🐾

This lovable little schnauzer/pittie mix officially went home with her forever family! We couldn’t be happier for her! After coming to the shelter alongside her three sisters when their owners could no longer care for them, Lily’s happy ending has finally arrived.

This 2-year-old sweetheart is all about cozy moments—curling up beside you, melting into your lap, and soaking up every bit of affection you’re willing to give. If there’s a cuddle opportunity, Spooky is already there 🥹

But don’t be fooled—he’s not all snuggles. When it’s playtime, Spooky taps into his fun, kittenish energy! He loves chasing, wrestling, and goofing around with his buddy Binx (they came to the shelter together 💕).

🐾 Meet Boba 🐾

A face only a mother could love… but a personality everyone actually falls for 😄💕

Hi, I’m Boba! I’m a 1.5-year-old chocolate and tan Affenpinscher mix—a pretty unique little guy you don’t see every day at the shelter!

I’m playful, confident, and full of goofy energy. I LOVE running around the yard, soaking up attention, and being wherever my people are 🐶✨

I’m still young and learning, so I’ll do best with someone who can help me with puppy obedience training and show me the ropes. I’m not the “outdoor dog” type—I want to be part of the family, not left outside or alone for long stretches.

If you’re looking for a fun, silly, one-of-a-kind companion who will keep you smiling… I might just be your guy 💛

Our fun, curious black kitty Ember has officially found her forever home 💕

Ember has such a playful spirit and a bright, inquisitive personality that made her impossible not to love. It didn’t take long before her two new cat parents fell completely in love with her.

She’s now off to a home where she’ll be cherished, spoiled, and adored 🥹✨

🎉 Adopted: Ruby! 🐾

Sweet Ruby has officially found her forever home 💕

This adorable pup came to us with her three sisters when their previous owners could no longer care for them. As schnauzer/pittie mixes, they brought plenty of love, wiggles, and personality with them—and Ruby was no exception!

We’re so happy to share that Ruby is the second of her sisters to be adopted, and she’s now off to start her next chapter filled with love, playtime, and all the puppy snuggles she deserves 🥹

🐾 Minnow has been waiting… and waiting… ❤️

For over a year, Minnow has been quietly hoping her person would come along.

She’s not the loudest in the room. She’s not bouncing off the walls or demanding attention. Instead, Minnow is the kind of dog who will gently make her way into your life—and become your favorite part of it.

At around 10 years old, this sweet red Corgi mix has perfected the art of companionship. Her dream day? Lounging on the couch, soaking up calm moments, and just being near her person 🥹 She also has the sweetest habit of bringing you her favorite toy, just to share a little moment together.

She’s crate trained, has a gentle, easygoing nature, and would thrive in a peaceful home with adults or older kids. What she really wants is simple: consistency, comfort, and someone who won’t leave her behind again.

Minnow doesn’t need much… just a soft place to land and someone to love.

After all this time, we’d really love to see her finally go home 💫
