Kinship-Seneca A FUNDRAISEING GROUP TO HELP SUPPORT FOSTER, ADOPTION & MENTAL HEALTH FOR THE YOUTH OF SAN BENITO COUNTY

Gabilan Chapter is a volunteer auxiliary group based in San Benito County on California’s Central Coast. The chapter provides local support for Seneca’s adoption, foster care and mental health services in Monterey and San Benito Counties. Some Gabilan members have dedicated their time since the chapter’s beginnings in 1956. Through the years, the chapter has raised significant amounts of money by

hosting luncheons, fashion shows and house tours; its signature fundraiser is the annual wine tasting, first held in 1957 to showcase local wineries and restaurants. The sellout event, the oldest of its kind on the Central Coast, has grown to include participation by large numbers of wineries and restaurants and guest attendance of up to 1200. Seneca Family of Agencies believes that every child deserves a family, and is dedicated to finding permanent homes for abused, neglected or abandoned children. This cannot be done without the help of a caring community. Each year, funds raised by the Gabilan Chapter support vital services to children in transition and new families struggling to meet the needs of children in their care.

Wow!! What an amazing day! The best thing about San Benito County is when we ask our community to come out, you all show up!
With the support of all the contributing wineries, breweries, restaurants, sponsors, Hollister High ASB & Floral, and YOU guests we raised roughly $146,000.
This will directly impact the foster, adoption & mental health of the youth right here in San Benito County.

We can’t thank you all enough for supporting our cause.

A few friendly reminders:
🚫We are . That unfortunately means, there will be NO tickets available at the door. Please don’t make us turn you away.
👶🏼This is a 21+ only event. Even though this event is for the youth, they are not allowed.
💰We have some amazing live & silent auction item. Be prepared to bid.

We are so excited for our very own Hollister High school students to be part of our decorating this year. Our decorating committee wanted to add an extra community involvement and asked Hollister High School ASB Baler Floral Design Hollister_FFA to help with all the flour arrangements.
Great job Kristen Wynn for helping these students with their next level of floriculture.
