Our mission is to create a beautiful boutique shopping experience for the incredible ladies and gentlemen we serve, many ranging from their stylish 60s to 100+ years young. ✨

As we continue curating our boutique, we are currently looking for:

✨ We kindly ask that all donations be NEW or GENTLY USED in EXCELLENT condition as we are carefully curating a dignified and uplifting boutique experience.

Tonight’s the night ❤️

Our Melinda’s Day story airs tonight on FOX 29 News at 9 PM. This little charity was created from love, purpose, and the hope of bringing joy and dignity to seniors in nursing homes.

Creating awareness is so important because community support is what will help us continue to grow, reach more residents, and make future events even bigger and better.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, donated, shared a post, volunteered, or encouraged me along the way. This is truly just the beginning. 🦋

Our very first Melinda’s Day event was such a beautiful success. Watching the residents shop, smile, pick out things for themselves, and truly enjoy the experience was something I will never forget. You could see it in their eyes… they knew this day was special, and seeing their excitement over everything being completely free meant absolutely everything to me.

I cannot thank my friends, family, and everyone who donated enough. Your generosity made today possible. From the clothing and shoes to the jewelry, purses, scarves, and sweet little extras, every single item helped make these residents feel seen, celebrated, and beautiful. 🦋

And as if the day could not get any more special, FOX SA surprised us by coming out to cover the event, and Ryan Wolf presented Melinda’s Day with the Cash for Kindness award. I was completely shocked, honored, and beyond grateful. ❤️

This journey is just beginning, and after today, I know with my whole heart that we are doing exactly what we are meant to do.

The story will air next Wednesday at 9 PM on FOX SA / Channel 29. Thank you all for believing in this dream and helping make our very first event so meaningful. I truly cannot wait to do more. ✨

Tonight is the night before the big event. 💕

The car is packed, my heart is full, and tomorrow we walk into Arden Courts hoping to make the residents feel special, seen, celebrated, and remembered.

I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t emotional for me. The last time I was there was after my mom passed away, and I haven’t been back since. So tonight I’m feeling a little nervous, a little emotional, but mostly hopeful.

Tomorrow is about kindness, dignity, smiles, and making beautiful memories for every resident there. And more than anything… I just want to make her proud. 🤍

Something beautiful is happening behind the scenes 💕

We’ve been hard at work preparing a very special styling day for the residents of Arden Courts. From sorting donations by size to curating beautiful spring pieces, every detail has been thoughtfully prepared with love.

This event is about more than clothing. It’s about dignity, confidence, joy, and helping every resident feel seen and celebrated.

Melinda’s Day is truly starting to come to life and my heart is so full. 💛

We spent the afternoon assembling racks, organizing accessories, and bringing this vision one step closer to reality. Huge shoutout to my amazing husband who can literally put together anything and always helps turn my ideas into something beautiful.

A very special thank you to Diana B and Diane G for your generous monetary donations. Because of your support, we were able to purchase the racks, matching hangers, bins, jewelry holders, and all the little details needed to make this event beautiful and organized.

Watching this dream come together has been incredibly emotional. Every piece of this is being built with love and purpose, and I cannot wait to share it with the residents on May 7. ✨

What started as a simple Facebook message about a small jewelry donation turned into something so much more today.

I had the honor of meeting Terre, who came all the way from La Vernia with a large donation of clothing, purses, and shoes that belonged to her parents, Nell and Lloyd.

You could feel it. The love, the memories, the weight of what those items meant.

I know how hard it is to part with a parent’s belongings. I have walked that road myself, and it is not easy. But what stood out so deeply was the peace and comfort she seemed to have knowing these pieces of their life are going to something meaningful.

Because of her generosity, so many nursing home and memory care residents will get to experience something so simple yet so powerful. The joy of shopping. The feeling of choosing something for themselves. A sense of dignity and normalcy that so often gets lost.

And in that, Nell and Lloyd’s memory lives on.

I started Melinda’s Day thinking people might donate a few items here and there. I never imagined it would become something this meaningful. Something that carries stories, love, and legacy like this.

Terre, thank you. To your sisters and your family, thank you for trusting me with something so personal. It means more than I can put into words.

Today reminded me that this is so much bigger than clothes. 💛
