It’s official. 🍂🩵

Come to the Table: A Messy Together Friendsgiving is happening November 13, and I am so excited to finally share the details.

We’ll gather around the table for good food, c***r, a signature mocktail, meaningful conversation, community, an optional wooden board workshop, and a little opportunity to give back through our coat drive.

Bring a favorite dish. Bring yourself exactly as you are. And if you’d rather bring your own favorite beverage, you’re more than welcome to do that too.

The optional Wooden Board Workshop is $20 and has limited spots available, so be sure to reserve yours early if you want to participate.

RSVP by October 30:

Hi ladies,

I wanted to send a quick update about our Messy Night outing planned for this week.

The truth is, I’ve been doing a lot lately. Good things, things I love, things I’m grateful for… but still, a lot. And I’ve realized I need to listen to what my mind and body are telling me and give myself permission to slow down and rest.

So, I’m going to sit this Messy Night out. 🩵

If you were looking forward to getting together and still want to go, please do! There is absolutely no reason the fun has to stop just because I won’t be there. I hope some of you still grab a pedicure, catch up, laugh too loudly, and enjoy some time together.

Our next Messy Message on October 22 is still happening, and I’m really looking forward to being together in the living room again.

We’re going to talk about something I think a lot of us know all too well: the pressure to look like we have it all together—the masks we wear, the things we hide, and what happens when we finally allow ourselves to be honest about what’s underneath.

Maybe this week, for me, that honesty looks like saying, “I need to rest.”

And I think that’s kind of the point of Messy Together anyway.

We don’t have to show up polished.
We don’t have to pretend we can do everything.
We get to come messy and leave loved.

Thank you for understanding, and I’ll see you October 22. 🩵

Love,
Lia

I've been thinking about this today...

I wonder how many of us are walking around wearing masks hiding the real us...

The "I'm fine" mask.

The "I've got it all together" mask.

The "I don't want anyone to know I'm struggling" mask.

We wear them because we're afraid of being judged.
Afraid of being misunderstood.
Afraid that if people saw the real us... they might walk away.

But Jesus has never asked us to pretend.

He already knows every fear, every failure, every hidden hurt—and He loves us completely.

Maybe today is the day you stop exhausting yourself trying to look okay.

You don't have to perform for God's love.

You simply have to come.

Come weary.
Come uncertain.
Come exactly as you are.

That's where healing begins. 🩵

Come messy. Leave loved. 🩵

🤍 What mask have you been tempted to wear lately?

💌 If this encouraged you, share it with someone who might need the reminder that they don't have to pretend.

I've been thinking about this today...

God could have chosen anything to carry His glory.

Instead...

He chose ordinary people like you and me.

People who have been hurt.
People who have made mistakes.
People who sometimes wonder if they're enough.

Scripture calls us "jars of clay."

Not because we're strong on our own...

But because when God's power shines through our weakness, there's no question where the glory belongs.

Maybe you've been feeling cracked lately.

Maybe life has left you wondering if you're too broken to be useful.

Friend, your cracks don't disqualify you.

They're often the very places where God's grace becomes most visible.

The treasure has never been the jar.

The treasure has always been Jesus within you. 🩵

Come messy. Leave loved. 🩵

🤍 Where have you seen God's strength show up in your weakness?

💌 If this encouraged you, share it with someone who needs this reminder today.

Something special is coming… 🍂🩵

I know once the holiday season arrives, calendars start filling up fast, so I wanted to give you a little heads-up that something beautiful is in the works for November.

A night to gather.
A night to slow down.
A night to make room at the table for good food, meaningful conversation, and sweet community.

Come to the Table: A Messy Together Friendsgiving is coming. 🤎

I’m still working on all the little details, but I couldn’t wait to share this with you.

Be on the lookout for the official invitation + RSVP coming soon.

You’re going to want to save a seat at this table. 🩵

I've been thinking about this today...

How much of my life am I missing because my mind is always somewhere else?

Thinking about tomorrow.
Replaying yesterday.
Trying to solve problems that haven't even happened yet.

And all the while...

God is here.

In this moment.
In this conversation.
In this ordinary Tuesday.

Maybe today isn't about getting further ahead.

Maybe it's about slowing down long enough to notice that God has been walking beside you all along.

Be where your feet are.

Jesus is already there. 🩵

Come messy. Leave loved. 🩵

25 years later, we remember.

We remember the lives lost.
We honor the heroes who ran toward danger.
We hold close the families whose lives were forever changed.

And as believers, we remember that even in our darkest moments, God remains near.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18

Today we pray for the families who still carry the weight of September 11th, for the first responders and survivors, and for our nation.

May we never forget the courage, compassion, and unity that rose from unimaginable heartbreak—and may we continue to be people who love our neighbors, carry one another’s burdens, and point each other toward hope.

🇺🇸 Never forget.
🙏 We remember. We honor. We pray.
