Whether you’re helping an aging parent, coordinating appointments for a spouse, supporting a child with ongoing healthcare needs, or trying to keep family members informed, staying organized can be challenging.

That’s why we’re building Dorothy.io — a family healthcare coordination platform designed to help families stay organized, connected, and supported through everyday healthcare needs and more complex care situations.

We’re currently looking for early advocates and beta testers to help shape the future of Dorothy.io.

Over the past several months, this vision has continued to grow in ways I never imagined.

What began as a passion to support caregivers through advocacy, care coordination, and compassionate support has evolved into something even bigger — a modern support platform designed to help family caregivers navigate the overwhelming responsibilities of caring for a loved one.

Today, I’m excited to share that Dorothy Bryant Foundation is evolving into:

✨ Dorothy.io

Named in honor of my mother, Dorothy Bryant, this next chapter continues her legacy of compassion, care, and love — while building tools and support systems for today’s family caregivers.

Our mission remains rooted in supporting caregivers during some of life’s most challenging moments:

* hospital discharges,
* new diagnoses,
* care transitions,
* long-distance caregiving,
* and everyday care coordination.

But now, we are building with an even greater vision:

“The personal assistant for family caregivers.”

This transition reflects growth, innovation, and the future of caregiver support.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey from the beginning. Your encouragement, feedback, prayers, and belief in this vision have meant more than words can express.

I would like to take this time to say thank you to everyone who registered for and attended our Caregiver Advocate Interest Session on Saturday, May 2nd. 💜

Your presence, questions, and interest mean so much as we continue building support for family caregivers, long-distance caregivers, and those navigating care for a loved one.

The heart behind Caregiver Advocate is simple: caregivers should not have to carry everything alone. We are creating support that helps caregivers feel more prepared, more informed, and more supported during important care moments, especially during transitions like hospital discharge, a new diagnosis, or changes in care needs.

Join the Dorothy Bryant Foundation Caregiver Support & Advocacy Interest Session for a virtual conversation about a new caregiver support program in development.

We’ll be talking about the real challenges caregivers face, the stress of ongoing caregiving responsibilities, and the difficulty of knowing what to do next. This session is also a chance for you to share your voice. We want to hear what support feels missing and what would actually be helpful for caregivers and families.

We’re excited to share an update on the Dorothy Bryant Foundation and all that is being built behind the scenes.

Right now, we are in a foundational building season—prayerfully, intentionally, and strategically putting the pieces in place to create something that will truly serve families and communities in a meaningful way.

At this stage, we are actively working on:
• finalizing the structure and vision of the foundation
• developing our core programs and service offerings
• building out the Caregiver Advocate initiative under our Healthcare Access Program
• creating resources, tools, and support materials for caregivers and families
• laying the groundwork for future community outreach, partnerships, and impact

This process has required patience, clarity, and a lot of behind-the-scenes work, but we are making progress. Every step matters, and we want to build this the right way so that the Dorothy Bryant Foundation can be a lasting source of support, advocacy, and access for those who need it most.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, prayed for, and followed this journey so far. We are still building, and we are believing for great things ahead.

🌱 We’re Moving Forward — Cycle 2 Has Begun! 🌱

The Dorothy Bryant Foundation, Inc. is excited to share that we have entered into our second cycle of customer discovery for the Healthcare Access Program.

Thanks to the insights shared during our first round of interviews, we’ve learned so much about the real challenges individuals and families face when navigating healthcare.

Now, we’re going deeper — listening, validating, and refining our understanding to ensure the services we launch truly meet community needs.

Your voice continues to guide our work as we determine the first service to be launched under this program.
