Cub Scout Pack 66 of San Antonio, TX Welcome to Pack 66! During the school year, we meet at University Methodist Church on Mondays at 6:30p.

Elementary school students of all backgrounds are welcome to join us. Please note that Pack 66 follows the Northside ISD school & holiday schedule.

Cub Scout Pack 66 visits Mitchell Lake!

Earlier this month, traded their indoor scout meetings for the outdoors with an awesome tour at Mitchell Lake Audubon Center!

Our Scouts spent the day exploring the trails. Guided by expert naturalists, they learned how to spot and identify local and migratory bird species, including:
- American White Pelicans: Learning how these massive birds hunt together in groups!
- Roseate Spoonbills: Spotting their brilliant pink feathers through the reeds.
- And more!

A huge thank you to the staff at Mitchell Lake for showing us the importance of conservation and wetland habitats. Our Scouts walked away with bigger smiles and sharper observation skills.

Hit It Out of the Park for Scouting!

Pack 66 had an absolute blast at Scout Night with the San Antonio Missions a few weeks ago!

There’s nothing quite like summer baseball, hot dogs, and spending quality time with our incredible Scout family under the lights.

An extra special shout-out to one of our very own Pack 66 Cub Scouts, who had the honor of throwing out the ceremonial opening pitch on behalf of the Alamo Area Council! You represented our pack and council with major pride and a great arm!

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer, support, and make memories with us.

Happy 4th of July from !

Our had an amazing time marching in the Woods of Shavano’s 4th of July Parade! We loved seeing so many friendly faces while handing out American flags and serving up fresh, cold watermelon at the community center.

What an incredible way to honor and celebrate America's 250th birthday!

Big Moves and Big Achievements! ⚜️

Our Cubs were hard at work! Join us in giving a huge round of applause to several Cub Scouts who earned their new adventure loops back in April! 🪵🔍 From mastering new skills to serving our community, these scouts were rocking their uniforms, earning their badges, and showing exactly what it means to Do Your Best.

But that’s not all! A massive congratulations to our newest Arrow of Light Scout, who officially crossed the bridge and advanced to Troop 66! We are incredibly proud of your hard work, leadership, and dedication over the years. We know you will do amazing things on your Scouts BSA journey!

Thank you to all the leaders, parents, and volunteers who support our scouts every step of the way. The adventure continues! 🪵🔥

A few of our enjoyed a beautiful Saturday morning hike at OP Schnabel Park.

They spotted plenty of wildlife - deer, lizards, sparrows, a cardinal, and even a squirrel! Scouts also saw responsible pet owners in action along the trails.

Some captured their observations in sketchbooks, while others checked off finds on their scavenger hunt. A great day of learning and exploring!

We’re grateful to Dr. Karla Duran, President of the Northside ISD Board of Trustees, for spending time with and joining in our fun!

Our enjoyed learning about Dr. Duran’s journey as an educator, the school board election process, and the many ways they can make a difference in their community, even at a young age.

Moments like these remind our Scouts that leadership starts with service.
