This 24-hour giving day supports nonprofits across South Central Texas, and this year, we’re raising funds for our Explore pillar, helping students travel, experience new cultures, broaden their perspectives, and discover opportunities beyond their own communities. The summer fun isn’t over for SOS! SOS has officially made it to the United Kingdom for our next student adventure!

Our students have a full itinerary planned, filled with exciting activities, cultural experiences, and plenty of opportunities to explore all that London has to offer. We can’t wait to see the memories they make along the way! Follow along as we take SOS to the UK!

We're happy to have been back with the Food Bank this past Saturday! Our students spent the day giving back, serving their community, and making a difference together.

During our Inaugural Sister Cities Youth Summit, our students were learning about what it means to build sustainable, resilient communities when devastating news reached us: Kumamoto, Japan, one of our sister-city communities, had experienced a devastating earthquake.

Our students responded not with fear, but with empathy, poise, and resilience. They came together to create this video as a message of solidarity to their friends and peers in Kumamoto.

In moments of crisis, we are reminded that our connections across borders are more than cultural exchanges or friendships. They are a commitment to stand with one another. From San Antonio to Kumamoto, we are thinking of our friends, sending our support, and standing together.

This is the power of bringing young people together: building bridges, cultivating empathy, and reminding us that we are stronger when we stand together.

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday and supported SOS at Roadmap Brewing! Throughout August, Roadmap will be donating $1 from every sale of drip coffee, Alright Alright Alright pilsner beer, and non-alcoholic beers to support our mission. Yesterday marked Day 3 of the YMA! Our students spent the day on campus at St. Mary's University, rotating through hands-on labs in Machine Shop, Cybersecurity, and Electronics.

From learning the Caesar Cipher to drilling and exploring components like breadboards, photoresistors, and other electronics, students had the opportunity to build new skills and discover different career paths. They stayed engaged throughout each session and asked some great questions!

We're looking forward to today!
