Right now, there’s a major VA policy change that’s catching national attention — and Veterans need Congress to hear from YOU. 🗣️

📢 What’s Happening with the VA:
The Department of Veterans Affairs recently issued an interim final rule that changes how disability ratings are evaluated. Under the new rule, if medication improves a veteran’s symptoms, the VA can base the disability rating on the medicated level rather than the underlying severity of the condition. Many veteran advocates and service organizations worry this could lead to lower disability ratings and reduced compensation, especially for those managing serious service-connected conditions with medication. 

Veterans groups have raised concerns that this new rule was implemented without proper input from the veteran community, and some lawmakers have publicly criticized it as potentially harmful, urging the VA to reconsider.
