AYA Foundation San Antonio Providing immediate financial support to adolescents and young adults facing cancer. Real help, right when it’s needed most. Join us in making an impact.

Every donation tells a story, and every story represents a young adult whose life was changed by the support of this community.🫶🏼

Your generosity helps us provide immediate financial assistance through grants that ease the financial burden of a cancer diagnosis. Whether it’s helping cover rent, utilities, transportation, groceries, or other essential expenses, these grants allow young adults or AYAs to focus on what matters most, their treatment and recovery.

The faces in these photos are a reminder that your support has a real impact on real people.

Thank you for helping us continue our mission of supporting adolescents and young adults (AYAs) facing cancer, one grant at a time. 💙

For many adolescents and young adults, a cancer diagnosis brings questions they never expected to face, including whether they’ll be able to have children in the future.

Some cancer treatments can affect fertility, making it critical for patients to understand their options before treatment begins. Unfortunately, fertility preservation can be expensive and is often not fully covered by insurance.

A $1,000 gift can help provide a Fertility Preservation Grant, giving an AYA the opportunity to preserve the possibility of building the family they’ve always dreamed of.

Your generosity isn’t just helping someone through treatment. It’s helping protect hope for the future.

💙 Donate today through the link in our bio and help us continue providing immediate support to adolescents and young adults facing cancer.

Most people have never heard the term AYA, but chances are, you know someone who falls into this group.

AYA stands for Adolescents and Young Adults, people diagnosed with cancer in their teens, 20s, and 30s. These are students, young professionals, new parents, newlyweds, and people just beginning to build their lives. A cancer diagnosis doesn’t just impact their health. It can mean lost income, mounting medical bills, housing insecurity, and impossible decisions between paying for treatment or providing for their families.

That’s why AYA Foundation San Antonio exists.

We are a local nonprofit dedicated exclusively to supporting adolescents and young adults with cancer through financial assistance, community, and resources that help ease the burden during treatment. Because no one should have to choose between getting the care they need and keeping a roof over their head.

If this story moved you, there are so many ways you can make a difference:
💙 Donate through the link in our bio.

Together, we can make sure no young adult faces cancer alone.

A cancer diagnosis changes everything. For adolescents and young adults, it often comes with challenges that go far beyond treatment.

AYA Foundation San Antonio exists to help bridge those gaps by providing financial assistance, emotional support, and resources for young people navigating one of the most difficult seasons of their lives.

We’re honored to have had the opportunity to share our mission on KENS 5 Great Day SA and help bring awareness to a community that is often overlooked.

Every donation, every partnership, and every shared story helps ensure that no young adult has to face cancer alone.

Last month, our community came together with one shared purpose: to ensure adolescents and young adults or AYAs, facing cancer never have to face it alone.

The room was filled with survivors, caregivers, physicians, families, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and advocates, each playing a role in creating hope for the AYA community. Together, we celebrated milestones, shared powerful stories, honored incredible individuals, and raised critical funds that will go directly toward supporting the young adults we serve.

Throughout July, we’ll be looking back at the unforgettable moments from this year’s Summer Luncheon, highlighting the people, stories, and impact that made the day so special.

If you were there, we’d love to hear from you! 💙 What was your favorite or most memorable moment at the luncheon? Share it with us in the comments below.
